PropTech/ConTech. PropTech is the is use of technology for real estate, both residential and commercial. PropTech startups are focused on transforming how people buy, sell, rent, and manage properties using technology, such as data visualization, AI, AR/VR (e.g. virtual home tours), blockchain. By contrast, ConTech refers to technology used in designing and construction processes, including 3D printing, Building Information Modeling (BIM), etc.
