BV Capital Partners provides 'The professional financial buyer solution for small and medium sized companies in the Benelux'.Over the years, there has been a growing demand for professional financial investors for smaller transactions, as many private equity investors have left this segment.

Mid 2003, John Blydenstein and Hans Vanoorbeek have left their respective large European private equity funds in London to return to their home-countries to start investing their private capital in small & medium sized companies in the Benelux under the name BV Capital Partners.





John Blydenstein has been one of the three founding partners of West Private Equity in London (€ 400m pan-European mid market private equity fund, now called Lyceum Capital). Hans Vanoorbeek has been a partner at BC Partners in London (€ 4.3bn pan-European large cap private equity fund). From 1995 until 1999, based in London, Hans and John have jointly built up Industri Kapital (€ 750 m pan-European mid market private equity fund, now called IK Investment Partners) in the Benelux.
