Windrose Capital is a VC Fund founded in 2013 by two Digital Natives, who have been entrepreneurs themselves. Windrose Capital exists to support India’s Fast-transforming Economy through early and mid-stage investments in promising Start-ups. We are disciplined, thesis-driven investors with a deep lens on sectors we understand and ideas that have a wide margin to succeed. We are active investors, thoughtful advisors and dedicated problem-solvers with a passion for technology and a deep belief in the transformative power of Digital-first Businesses.

We invest in the creation of industries that are a beneficiary of demographic growth in consumption, simultaneously transforming its modes of value-delivery underpinned by emerging technology platforms. Looking at disruption as a side-effect of positive change. Which means we are on the look-out for businesses creating, delivering and capturing new paths to value in their customers’ world. We are not interested specifically in the disruption, but in its efficiency of value creation, distribution and capturing.

Our understanding and experience leads us to be particularly interested in Financial Inclusion (FinTech, Non-FinTech, Assurance, etc.), Connectivity and Flow (Smart Mobility, Logistics, Electric Mobility, IoT & Physical Networks, etc.), Business Enablement (AI, ML, Smarter Process Automation, etc.) and Improving Basic Human Quality of Life (HealthTech and AgriTech).
